There are two kinds of SEO: On page, where you optimize your websites pages to receive better ranking, and off page, where you build backlinks from other websites to your website to receive better rankings. In this article I will show you 10 tips on off page SEO. In other words 10 tips to build links to your website.
  1. Submit articles to article Directories: One of the easiest ways to get some backlinks to your site is by creating articles for sites like EzineArticles. You simply write an article and then you can include a link in the Author's resource box.
  2. Post articles in Web 2.0 sites: create your own little blog or hub in Web 2.0 sites like HubPages and WordPress.com. You can link straight from the body of your content. With this method you can even earn some extra revenue from these sites self. Give it a try.
  3. RSS: You should submit your sites RSS feed to RSS aggregators. This will give you some backlinks to your RSS feed and then to your Website from your RSS Feed. one of the best feed aggregators is www.FeedAge.com
  4. Social Bookmarking: You can submit your website to Social bookmarking sites. This will have a link back to your website.
  5. Press Release: You can Submit a press release of your site that will include a link back to your site. Make sure the Press release is good quality and gives the reader a bit of information about your site. You can submit a press release at newsreleaser.com
  6. Social Networking: You can get some backlinks to your site by posting links on Social networking sites. Be sure to also have a Social sharing plugin on your site so that visitors can share your content with their friends as well, AddThis is a simple plugin that you can use for this.
  7. Forums: You can get some backlinks from forums, by posting sense full replies and including your links in your Signature, some Forums don't include signatures then you can simply include a link in the reply. Just make sure that the reply is of high quality or else the Forum moderators might remove your reply and thus removing your link.
If you follow these simple steps you will be seeing results in no time. Just remember to keep working hard and never give up.
